Trade Questions

How do you determine trade-in values?

Unlike many stores, our trade evaluation process is very straight forward. One of our appraisers will drive your vehicle with you. That way you get an opportunity to tell the appraiser everything about your vehicle. We then use various resources (Kelley Blue Book, NADA, on-line auction reports, etc.) to determine the actual market value of your vehicle. The figure we give you is a cash offer. We will write you a check for that amount even if you decide not to purchase a vehicle from us. That is you assurance that the price is a real number. We feel this is the only fair way to do business!

I went to another dealer and got a quote for my trade. Will you honor that price?
What we do is give you a complete breakdown of all the numbers. This includes our best price, trade value, monthly payments, interest rates and extended service plan prices. We do all this without asking for a commitment to purchase. We will give you everything you need to know about your car deal in writing, up front with no hidden charges. Then you can decide if it's the best deal for you.

What if I still owe money on my trade?
Most people do. We will take care of all the paperwork to complete your transaction. This includes paying off your trade, transferring the title, and registering your new vehicle with the state. Our staff takes care of all the details so you won't have to!

What if I owe more than my vehicle is worth?
That happens more than you might think. Many times the negative equity can be included on your next vehicle's financing. Be assured that our experienced finace staff will present you with all the options available to you.

Credit Questions

I have credit problems, can I still get financed?
No one can answer that question without specific information, but many times people's credit problems are not as bad as they think. Our finance staff has over 70 years combined experience. They have helped thousands of people get the financing they need. You can be assured of confidential and respectful treatment.

I am a first time buyer, what should I do?
One of the great things about doing business with Epic Ford is that everyone gets the same great deal. You do not have to be an experienced buyer to get a good deal. Our salaried sales staff can give you all the information you need in regard to financing and leasing. They are here to explain your options up front, then you decide if it makes sense for you.

What is my interest rate?
Interest rates have never been this low. Many vehicles now have zero percent financing. The rate you will pay will be determined by several factors. Within a few minutes of working with your consultant, you will know exactly what your rate will be.

What are my downpayment requirements?
In many cases there is no downpayment requirement. Sometimes if you put more money down you can get a better interest rate, but the choice is usually up to you. We will clearly explain all of your financing options so you can make the best choice for you.

Extended Warranties and Service Plans

I've heard that you shouldn't buy extended service plans. Is that true?
Basically extended service plans are insurance. You are protecting yourself from unexpected repairs. There are many different types of plans available and not all of them make sense for every customer. We will give you all the options available on the vehicle you have chosen, then it's up to you.
